Mayhem Wraps in Weaverville

Mayhem in Mayville wrapped up last weekend with two performances at the Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center in Weaverville, CA. What a venue this is! We had a blast here. This place is the real deal. I shot some pictures with my phone.

There was no doubt we were in a theater. Backstage, there was an entirely separate set under construction behind our set (see that third photo above). What a rare and special opportunity this was.

I Got The Part!

I am soooo jazzed!!! I auditioned for a play at Neighborhood Church Monday night. I just got the word about 20 minutes ago. I got the part I wanted! I haven’t been on the stage in four years. This play is going to be so funny. It’s called Mayhem in Mayville and it’s by Dean Kephart. Cathy Alderman is directing. I’ll be playing Horace (Junior) Rogers, an inventor, and that’s all I’m going to say about it. It’s a whodunit and I’m not gonna give anything else away. You’ll have to come see it, but it doesn’t open until the first week in November. Rehearsals don’t start for a couple of weeks. I’ll pick up my script tomorrow. I can’t wait!

Thank you, Lord! Once again, you have answered my prayer. I am blessed beyond comprehension!
